guest bookPlease read what our recent guests have to say about petites maisonsA big thank you from the Jefferson family as we thoroughly enjoyed our week at the little houses on the prairie. As planned we experienced two cottages, Jeanne and Marie and found both to be of a high standard, beautifully furnished with everything we needed for a weeks stay. Set in a lovely peaceful area of Brittany yet close to the beach and other things to do. Our three year old loved the use of a slide and walks to see the cows that wonder nearby the cottages. We loved our visit to The Farm-Inn restaurant with its open fireplace cooking what was going to be our lunch, an experience in itself. After lunch we headed outside for a walk around the grounds, a stop off at the pigs, a pony ride and ended with some time on the slides. There are nearby shops, markets, supermarkets, beaches, islands and plenty of other activities to keep young and old happy; or, we'd have been happy staying put at the cottages, which all looked superb, enjoying the countryside but three year olds don't yet appreciate that. We would come back and hope that we do…soon. Thank you again.Guy, Vicky and Florence I have had the pleasure of staying twice in the beautiful Petites Maison dans la prairie - both very different holidays - the first with my husband staying in the romantic rose cottage - the second with our 8 month old daughter and my parents in Anne cottage. Liz has done an amazing job on the interior - it really is like something out of a top interior design magazine yet homely and very well equipped.The cottages are suituated on a quite county road and about a 15 minute drive to some lovely coastal villages such as Binic,yet 5 minutes from the motorway with easy access to Dinan, Dinard and Saint Malo. Highly recommended for a high quality , peaceful holiday at very affordable prices - I cannot wait to return.Lorraine & Gerry, Dublin Ireland. We stayed at Little Houses on the Prairie in June this year for two weeks. We had booked after seeing the cottages on line and always had prompt responses to our emails with any questions we had. We had a wonderful time there. The atmosphere of the cottage was warm and welcoming – as were the owners. There was everything we needed to make our stay wonderful- including the greeting from the cows waiting to say hello when we arrived back in the evening from our exploration of Brittany. We drove all over Brittany in those 2 weeks – over 5000 kilometres. The cottage is ideally situated near a main highway, but far enough away so that the you are still in the country. Access to all parts of Brittany is easy from the cottage. We also found the local people friendly and helpful too. We can highly recommend Little Houses on the Prairie as a place to stay in Brittany, either to just relax or as a base to see the wonderful Brittany region.Sue & Bill Hayes-Williams, Sydney, Australia My husband and I stayed in La Maison A Rose in the Les Petites Maisons dans la Prairie in Plelo, Brittany, France in 2010. The cottages were ideally situated for us as their location is only 1 hour from Roscoff and we were in the countryside, yet only 10 mins by car from the beach/port of Binic. Liz Lamour (the owner) was extremely welcoming on our arrival and very helpful throughout our vacation. The cottage itself (La Maison a Rose) was very comfortable and the decor was absolutely beautiful and in keeping with the age of the cottage. It was wonderful to wake in the mornings and look out on the orchard and see the cows grazing on the meadow. The local villages were picturesque and there were plenty of restaurants to visit. The cottages are perfectly located for sightseeing in Brittany.
